The website’s front page and other subpages (excluding the blog) which runs on a separate extension of wordpress has been updated. Here is a list of changes.
Change-log:
- Upgraded to Wordpress 2.7. - 21/12/08
- My new theme “Lets paint” replaced “Green Bike”. - 21/12/08
- A nice little widget to pull my status from Facebook was added. - 21/12/08
- My portfolio was added. - 23/12/08
- Installed Lightbox2 effect on images. - 23/12/08
- A mini RSS feed from this blog is being burned on the front page. - 24/12/08
- More illustrations to make it look more friendly =] - 24/12/08
Known Glitches:
- The Navigation bar does not load properly in any versions of Internet Explorer. (Its not exactly a glitch, its the way IE handles CSS class tags that causes this. All the more reason for you to get yourself Safari or Firefox!)
Apart from IE, its a perfect upgrade. Its a totally different approach to web-designing for me. I tried to use Primary & Secondary colors as much as I could. Just a handful of changes, but it took me five days and endless hours in Photoshop & Dreamweaver. Getting the feed in was the tricky part, Had to learn how wordpress handles PHP & RSS to get the plugin working & to customize it for my site. This way, if you are checking up on me, you get all the info on the front page itself. The portfolio has alot more things to be added. Will do that once I get time.

It ain’t like a notice or anything, but its cool to say it anyway. You wouldn’t even know if I pulled the plug on the forum without tellin yall anyway. The forum, it never really worked out except for the first few days. In order to keep things in balance,.. You know, something new replacing something old, I’ve added My Portfolio on a couple things I’ve done on the internet. Isn’t it ironic? thats exactly why I needed the forum. To discuss stuff I do. Was thinkin about releasing wordpress themes & plugins for free download back then. Thought I could have the whole support thing going on.. you know. But they got better artists and coders doin that stuff anyway so I think I’ll pass on that. I ain’t enabling comments on this post. So yall check out the Portfolio on the main site (still to add a couple more things) and lemme know what you think. Peace out.

Ah, website. How have you been? I feel like I barely know you anymore.
As I walk through your insides, the corridors look familiar, my foot steps echo in familiar sounds. I look at the thousands of lines of code I wrote on your walls, making you look more beautiful every time I read them. You are still wearing a beautiful dress that I sewed with my own bare hands; every knot and every stitch and every colour all too familiar. The name Evelyn, meaning “little bird,” is derived from the French name “Aveline” of the same meaning. Additionally, it can be traced back to the Germanic Ava (possibly meaning “desired”) and the Latin avis (”bird”).
Evelyn is my niece. Angeline’s daughter. She is the sweet little face you see as the wallpaper in the cellphone. I got her a little tweety doll last week and it is so sweet to see her running around the apartment with it saying that she is flying.
Here is a little bird theme for our little tweet tweet. The theme is not available for download, sorry! Its been a very busy day. I’m really tired. Let me know what you think.

Hello World,
After two months of hard work and study, my first website & journal is finally up and running! The domain was registered with Godaddy & The web-log is powered by WordPress as a blogging and content management tool(CMS). Other parts of the website runs on traditional HTML & C.S.S based pages. I’m still working on complete integration of the website and blog to have a seamless effect.
There has been immense amount of work going on behind the scenes. I had to change my webhost twice & its now proudly hosted on HostGator along side sister sites TheJesusMyth & AAUPC on our server.
