Engineers! Ready, Set, GO!

The WaterFall Trip

Till yesterday, I thought my computer science department was full of geeks. I never knew that computer geeks were all born bikers. =]

Our last internal exam was on March 12th, the day after my birthday. Since it was an objective based paper, everyone got out of the hall within 10 minutes. We were all just sittin by when someone mentioned the park. We all took out our steeds and took off to the park near our college. And once were there, we were just chillin out when all of a sudden someone said, “Dude, the falls is just 20kms from here”. Little did we know that its not, It was a whole 35 kms away.

The day was awesome. Swimming, Trekking, Rock climbing and what else, more Biking!!

The day reminded me about a song from RDB. Here is a remixed version of the song by a bunch of some college students making you feel the colors of college life.

Too tired to type anything more. I hope the photos & Video speak more.

Me out!

Birthday Bumps

Happy Birthday Ru Cake Photo

It was my Birthday yesterday.

For the first time in my life, I celebrated something I don’t like. Thats right, I just hated the idea of “birthdays” and now I know why. It was simply because I never had a birthday with people I love. My friends made it a very special day and something that I can never forget.

Me & my classmate, JessiaJessia & Neema

So my best two “Girls-who-are-friends” did the best they can to make it a special day for me. It was a double internal exams day but they both left college after the first exam and told me that they didn’t prepare for the computer paper and that they are not giving the test. But I decided to write the exam anyhow because programming is the only subject I’m sure I’ll pass (not to mention full marks).

When my exam was over, I got a call from them and they told me to head over to the mall. I took Pegasus out of the parking and took off to the mall. I had no idea what to expect. It didn’t even cross my mind that they would have actually planned soomething for today. I was just expecting just another day at the mall.

I was given directions where to find them on my way to the mall. I parked Pegasus under the mall and went upstairs to find them. Once inside McDonalds, they had a cake (Chocolate, my fav) and everything ready for my unexpected birthday party. It was really fun, and once I cut the cake, Jessy & Chotu (Neema) painted me all over with the cake’s icing. I was in no position to react and honestly, I really didn’t know what to do. And while we were there, a bunch of people playing Truth or Dare at another table had dared a guy among them to propose Neema. That gave her the same unexpected shocked expressions that I went thru half an hour ago. Anyhow, I had a fun great evening. Thanks Jes, Neema =]

My birthday wasn’t over that easy!

9PM - Me & The boys hit the road.

After the party back at the mall, I was about to knock on my friend’s door when I noticed all the Bikes parked on the houses’ side. By the looks of it, I knew the day wasn’t done. All together, there were 7 bikes (including mine) and we take two on each bike - that’s a total of 14 guys from my class.

The first thing that came came to our minds was Brigade, the most happening place in Bangalore if you wanna party late night. An hour past midnight, we stopped playing snooker & got out of the Pub totally drunk and had dinner somewhere near. According to Indian Standard time, my birthday got over at 2.30am since I was born in Bahrain. I have no clue how much money was burnt that night, but it was well worth it. No, it was freakin’ AWESOME!!

We raced back home on the empty roads of Bangalore.

Dysfunctional

My throat aches with pain, literally burns inside each time I take in a puff from the half burnt cigarette in my hand. The smell of smoke fills the insides of my nose when I exhale. I doubt if its taste of my own burning skin on the insides of my throat.

I’m suffering from heavy fever thats been going on around and severe tonsillitis. I’ve a sore throat and I seem to have lost my voice. I can’t speak for more than 30 seconds in one go. I’m too weak to keep up with my schedule and things seem to get even tighter with people demanding lots of things from me. Nothing seems to be right and everything is a mess. Me, Myself & Pegasus.

Today, I feel more free than I’ve ever felt in my life. Its no wonder they compare engineering to imprisonment, I feel like a free man now. Well, this is just parole. I’ll have to go back to penitentiary within 20 days.

Exams are over, College closed and everyone has left Bangalore for home. Me & My steed (Pegasus) is all that is left.

Life always takes me for a trip, a whacked out color filled experiment. Read the rest of this entry »

First Date in Bangalore

A very short post, with a question and I need answers.

So I met this girl in college about a month ago. We recently met up, had a GREAT real date that led to some hot and heavy fun afterwards (I was fueled by too much alcohol!). That day morning, (it was an exam day) she called me over we made plans to hang out the evening. After the exam, we left college together. Needless to say, alcohol had its effect and the date wasn’t quite as “va-voom” like times before. I ended up feeling nervous and I wasn’t really myself.

After all of it, I dropped her backl. It was a great feeling to have her hugging me all the way, from college and back (gotta love the disc brakes of my pegasus). Each time I hit it, she comes a little closer. I held on to the throttle like a kid to a box of chocolate. Pegasus roared under us and pushed us through half empty Bangalore highways. It was dark all around on our way back, except for my headlights and a few streetlights. I could feel her breathe on my shoulder and as I went even faster, she shivered with the cold but still wanted me to go faster. She is really caring, loves speed, parties and traveling, just like me. She is nothing like my previous “friend-who-is-a-girl” who turned out to be a bitch (thats for another day, another entry).

So my dilemma: I want another chance! I think we connected because we were attracted to each other and I would love to get to know her better with at least one more date. She is a bit younger than me (3 years) and I think I’m too old for her ( I’m not worried about the age difference, but my character is not that of a teenager). Do you have any advice on how best to score one more chance? There are all of these more low-key date activities I would love to do this weekend.

Timely advice would be greatly appreciated!:)

Ninja Atheist

Atheists have always been at the forefront of rational thinking and beacons of enlightenment, here’s my way of Standing Out. I just got myself a new helmet with custom design. It has my title “Atheist” with a chineze-wappaneze font (glows in the dark too) =]

Atheists are far more numerous than most people realize. They are everywhere! The bus you take in the morning, your office, the cab driver, and even more possibly, in your family. 90% of my readers are Atheists. I had conducted a survey previously which gave me disturbing results. Read the rest of this entry »

Asheak, Me & Bangalore.

Asheak, one of my best friends from Cochin was with me the whole day in Bangalore. He came to pick up his new bike from his cousin who stays somewhat near my place.

He planned his trip as a surprise for me, but I called him yesterday night when he was waiting for the Bus to Bangalore. I never even expected this day but you know Ash, always unpredictable.

It was an awesome day. We had so much fun. We sped across Bangalore on his new ride and it is such an awesome bike too. I just couldn’t handle the immense power I felt while riding it. It even has a VIP number plate. Number 6!! (thats like, only 9 VIP’s per district). He even got caught by cops for speeding within his 3rd hour in Bangalore. Thats ok, cops here take bribes too =]

I’m just down that Rosh & AJ (rest two bike freaks in our gang) couldn’t join us. Anyhow, the last few hours with him made me feel back at home. I felt like I was with my biker gang again. He just dropped me at my Hostel and left for his cousins’.

He is riding The Karizma, a whole 17BHP 230cc single cylinder engine all the way back to Kerala tomorrow morning. A whole 600 KMs. He is that crazy about bikes! (look who’s talking! I just can’t wait till I get my ride here)

Ride safe Ash.
