My videos on WLNY-TV55's new show

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the huge response in my previous post. I’ve responded to your comments, so be sure to check it out after this little update.

I received this email in July when my website was still in production. Its from Brent Phelps, the Associate Producer of Quick Flix TV Show & they want to broadcast one of my videos I uploaded to YouTube. I was quite occupied with work and I never had much chance to do any research on it. [click here for a screenshot of the email]

Frankly, I was a bit excited about my videos on TV & I decided to write to Brent Phelps to know about copyrights and media usage licenses. I was only able to get 1 single response to my queries and it read,

“Basically the Terms and Conditions allow for us to use and edit the clips online and for TV. The terms are non-exclusive so you are free to do anything else you’d like with the clips”

That is like a license to cut the credits at the end of my videos if you ask me. One more thing that came to my attention was that there was no mention of a Brent Phelps in the “refer section” while I accepted my account using the password they sent me. Their websites are http://www.areyoureadyfortv.com/ & http://flix55.com/

And this is the video they are interested in “Got Something to Prove? - Fight with God” you can watch it on My YouTube account. Its a Universally Acceptable video (meaning its not adult, lol) and its meant for Theists & Atheists alike.

So for, It looks like a real deal to me because I’ve read about them here. I’ve never been to NY or any of the states they mentioned & I do not know much about Flix55. I need some information before I upload my videos. I’d like to ask my readers in that area, Have you guys seen it on TV ?

That’s really cool. I haven’t heard of this television station but I do have a team in the NY/NJ area. I will ask them if they have heard of it and try to get their opinions of the station to share with you, but I won’t be able to do that until I go back to work. I’m actually in that area a lot. Maybe I will be enough blessed to be in the area when your video is on the air.

Have they mentioned a date/time yet around when it will be aired. I’m curious why this particular video?

You are very talented and gifted on a number of different fronts. Someone was bound to take notice of your work eventually.

By the way, you may have started something with this “Fruitloop” thing. Zippo (Robert) left a comment on my page last night about a Fruitloop song he posted in his blast. Too funny!

I forgot to mention to you this morning that I did talk to David yesterday about flix55. He had never heard of it. Maybe it’s a start up station or small? Problem is so many people have digital cable these days that local channels are watched as much. I wish I could have gotten more information for you.

Have you heard back from them? Just curious if you know what kind of program they are going to put it on and are you concerned at all about how they might “spin” your work. It could be positive or negative or nuetral. Will you get a sneak preview or will you be able to see the program when it gets aired?

So many questions, so little time…. :O)

I got that same email Im kind of not sure about this guy i have been researching if it reaches over 24 million views than there has got to be alot on it. Il keep on researching.
